The advanced to expert-level 4FRNT EHP Alpine Ski’s three sizes and shapes give superhucker Eric Hjorleifson the float and strength to tackle the biggest, gnarliest lines he can find around the globe. Designed like a custom quiver, the EHP’s three lengths are all significantly different from each other. The 190 centimeter length is the most traditional big-mountain bomber, with a slightly upturned tail and a moderate sidecut that will tear up hardpack without sacrificing powder performance a great on-resort plank that will shine on dump days. The 186 is a backcountry tree-skier’s dream, with a long nose, zero camber and a rockered pintail for tips-up orientation and tight turns in the deep stuff. The 193 is an all-out, cliff-dropping, straightlining monster, with the same long nose and trim stern of the 186 grafted onto the body of an NFL linebacker. In all three iterations, the EHP’s burly wood core gives you smooth, consistent flex and durability. There’s nothing covered with snow that you can’t conquer on these babies all you need to bring with you is a helicopter and a cameraman.
